The Most ridiculously, good pizza I've ever had. You're dumb if you don't eat here. I mean that respectfully, of course.

This Place, the people, THE WINE!

When it's late at night, your stomach reminds you that it won't be nice to you if you don't feed it, you need to find the one thing that makes you happy...PIZZA! My trusty friend #YELP sent us walking down the quaint streets of #Barcelona. Located just a few blocks from our hotel stood this fantastic little pizza joint called La Pimpa Pizzeria. T'was late at night, all you heard were the sounds of laughter from all the drunks sitting outdoors at the nearby restaurants, glasses clanking from the cheers' taking place at the tables, and cigarette smoke smacking you in the face (did that set the stage for ya?).
Are ya hooked yet? Great, keep reading...
We walk in, smell this bomb ass aroma of tomatoes, garlic and homemade #mozzarella cheese, and were greeted by the super kind waiter and waitress working that night. We always order based off of what the #locals suggest and did exactly that after we sat down.
We started with, of course, WINE. You cannot beat a bottle of sparkling Rose´ for only $9.00 at a restaurant. AREYOUKIDDINGME?!
We then went on to be immersed in this heavenly, homemade, HUGE ball of mozzarella cheese plopped on a big splash on pesto sauce, with homemade focaccia slices, sun-dried tomatoes, and a garnish of balsamic. MYFAVORITETHINGEVER. The cheese was so moist (I know, everyones favorite word), and the bread had the perfect amount of crisp and crunch to it. I want to say this was around $10.50.

After the unrealistic amount of cheese we stuffed into our bodies, it was time for the real deal pizza of all pizzas. Homemade dough (which was incredible), topped with loria tomato sauce made fresh, MORE buffala mozzarella and serrano ham. MYMOUTHISWATERING. The crust, much like the bread we devoured earlier, was cooked to crisp and crunchy perfection! The sauce, ohhhh the sauce, was so fresh and light that I could have sucked it through a straw and been satisfied. The ham came fresh from a local butcher and melted in your mouth! This pizza was perfect and also incredibly rude at the same time. How can someone serve this to me when I don't have the ability to fulfill my cravings for this everyday? It ain't right but I'm living for it! These heaven on earth slices of love set us back $11.50 and I'd do it again!
I double dog dare you to stop by this place whenever you're traveling through the charismatic city of Barcelona. It won't let you or your taste buds down!
DONT FORGET
